How it works. COTH works with a local seafood distributor and chooses a charity each month as a beneficiary and is teamed up with a local seafood product. 25% of the sale of that product is donated each month to the chosen charity. ProFish reports for example the Blue Catfish sales for the month, usually thousands of pounds, and the donation goes directly to the chosen charity for that month. We then have a fund raiser each year to raise money for the 12 chosen charities for the year. Educational food related scholarships are formed through the moneys collected as well. In the hopes of building a family around local seafood, Chefs, restaurants, and the charitable community.
